Let’s Get to Know Each Other First!
I love to get to know everyone before their shoot! Preplanning sessions are my no charge welcome gift to you. It’s a great way for us to get to know each other. I prefer for use to get to know each other in-person, so I can show you samples, discuss ideas, chat pricing, let you ask questions, and then get everything rolling! But if in-person will not work for you then we can also chat over the phone or by Zoom. After our chat I will send you my complimentary wardrobe styling guide.
Life is short, book the Boudoir Experience!
The Boudoir Experience includes phone consultation with me to go over the details of the session (location, date, and time) and answer any questions you may have; professional hair styling and makeup (takes about 1 hour); 2-hour photo session with posing guidance (you are going to look amazing); 3 to 4 wardrobe changes; professional editing; and in person or zoom reveal of your images where you will select products and wall art for purchase. The nonrefundable creative fee of $595 includes all of the above and must be paid in full prior to your session. Please note that albums and wall art are not included in the creative fee.
Albums, wall art, and prints will be selected during your reveal and ordering appointment. Collections and albums start at $2500. All products are ordered once paid in full. Custom mobile app and web-optimized digitals are included with all purchased images.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my Images be shared?
It is up to you whether you give me permission to share your images. If you’re unsure, we can even chat about specific images being shared. Often times ladies give permission to share photos without their face.
What if I don’t know how to pose?
Leave the posing up to us! I literally demonstrate each pose before I have you imitate me, that way you know exactly what to do. I help guide your facial expressions too! You don’t have to be a model to do a boudoir shoot.
Can I be nude?
You can wear (or not wear) whatever makes you feel most confident! Some of my client's most favorited images wind up being the creative nude shots.
Will you alter my body in the images?
The purpose of a boudoir experience is to learn to love and appreciate your body the way it is in its natural state. I will help you see your true beauty so you no longer feel the need to alter your images. Leave the professional posing and flattering angles to me.
How long is a session?
From the time you step foot in the door ‘til the moment you walk out is usually less than 3.5 hours. In this time we will be doing professional hair and makeup, outfit selections, posing and shooting. Having a grand time!
How long will it take for my products to arrive?
With all the shipping delays, I am quoting it takes at least 4 weeks after payment is received unless you request rush shipping, which would be an additional fee but your products could arrive sooner. Quality takes time.
Why is boudoir photography so expensive?
Boudoir photography is a luxury experience. If you value photography and high-quality images, it’s worth the investment. You are hiring me as your photographer for my skills, knowledge, time, and expertise. More work actually goes into your session after the session ends. It is just not about making the camera go click. Yes, there are cheaper photographers out there, but you get what you pay for. You are investing in high quality images that you’ll admire forever, a lay flat leather album, and most of all, yourself!
